CatalystHub is committed to making this site, and every site we build, usable by as many people as possible — including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or who need larger text, higher contrast, or reduced motion.
Standard
We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard the Australian government uses for its own sites and the standard we hold ourselves to on every client build.
What this means in practice
- All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
- Focus indicators are visible against every background.
- Heading structure follows the document order — no skipped levels, one
<h1>per page. - Form inputs have visible labels; required fields are announced to assistive tech.
- Colour contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text; decorative images are marked as such.
- The site respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and disables movement-based animations when set. - Page text resizes cleanly up to 200% without layout breakage.
Known issues
We test on the latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, plus VoiceOver (macOS / iOS) and NVDA (Windows). If you find anything that fails, please tell us — see contact below.
There are no known major accessibility issues at the time of this statement. We may discover smaller issues in third-party embeds (calendar booking, analytics) and we address them as we find them.
